Betty White's 90th birthday special to air on on NBC

Playbill reports: Emmy Award winner Betty White will celebrate her 90th birthday with the NBC special Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl, airing Jan. 16, 2012, at 8PM ET.

The special, which will be taped at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, will include musical performances and surprise appearances, as well as a trip down memory lane with White.

Celebrities who will be in attendance include Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Burnett, William Shatner, Hugh Jackman, Jay Leno, Amy Poehler and Joel McHale.

White will also be joined by her Mary Tyler Moore Show co-stars Ed Asner, Valerie Harper and Gavin MacLeod and Hot in Cleveland ladies Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves.

Following the special, a sneak preview will air of White's hidden-camera reality series Betty White's Off Their Rockers.

Ric Alonso resigns from pageant association after porn revelation

Kevin Hogan wasn't the only person this week ambushed out of a job for his participation in the gay adult film industry. FOX News reports : Ric Alonso and his partner of 21 years, Ernie Koneck, have both been both prominent power players in the Southern California Scholarship Association — an incorporated not-for-profit association — which produces the Miss Hollywood pageant, an official preliminary to Miss California, and a feeder to Miss America. Alonso is listed as the first “major sponsor” for 2011 scholarship donations, while partner Koneck has been the pageantry point of contact and is featured in photographs alongside the smiling young sashed pageant contestants. On Tuesday, Alonso was exposed by RadarOnline as adult film actor and producer "Jake Cruise".
