Happy birthday Betty White!

[Editor's note] Today is Betty White's 90th birthday! To mark the occasion, NBC threw a huge birthday bash for the legendary comedian last night.

Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute To America’s Golden Girl was a star-studded event that highlighted the incredible career of a true TV queen.

President Obama, Tina Fey, Ellen DeGeneres, Hugh Jackman, and Morgan Freeman were among those who appeared on the 90-minute special. Betty's co-stars from her current hit TV show Hot in Cleveland Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Mallick and Jane Leeves were also in attendence. Comedy legends Carol Burnett and Carl Reiner, along with her Mary Tyler Moore cast mates Ed Asner, Valerie Harper, Gavin MacLeod, and Mary Tyler Moore herself were among the most notable guests.

It was a side-splittingly funny show that paid tribute to a cultural icon.

Ric Alonso resigns from pageant association after porn revelation

Kevin Hogan wasn't the only person this week ambushed out of a job for his participation in the gay adult film industry. FOX News reports : Ric Alonso and his partner of 21 years, Ernie Koneck, have both been both prominent power players in the Southern California Scholarship Association — an incorporated not-for-profit association — which produces the Miss Hollywood pageant, an official preliminary to Miss California, and a feeder to Miss America. Alonso is listed as the first “major sponsor” for 2011 scholarship donations, while partner Koneck has been the pageantry point of contact and is featured in photographs alongside the smiling young sashed pageant contestants. On Tuesday, Alonso was exposed by RadarOnline as adult film actor and producer "Jake Cruise".
