Adam Lambert to release song for the Trevor Project

The Examiner reports: Adam Lambert has re-mixed his song "Aftermath" and will be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Trevor Project.

The Trevor Project is a charity that deals with gay teens having trouble with their sexual orientation and may be having thoughts of suicide.

Lambert has been a vocal supporter of this charity that speaks out against gay bullying.

He confirmed the release of the remix himself, tweeting:

“Exciting news: Releasing a revamped version of AFTERMATH. Proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project. Wait till you hear it- it's now a hot pop dance anthem. No set release date... Putting finishing touches on the track. Stay tuned...”
