82nd Annual Academy Award winners

[Editor's note] Unfortunately, we spent most of Oscar night barricaded in the library working on a paper. That being the case, our coverage will be somewhat lacking this year. We did, however, manage to catch a couple of great Oscar moments that will stay with us for a while.

The first was Oprah Winfrey's introduction of Gabourey Sidibe for Best Actress nominee. Her words were so deeply rooted in the hopes and aspirations of anyone struggling for a dream that she had us in tears right from the get-go. Miss Sidibe did not win, but to have Ms. Winfrey speak so highly and so eloquently about her could be enough of a prize for anyone.

The second sensational moment followed quickly after with Sandra Bullock's Oscar win. Sincere, poised, and ever the funny lady, Ms. Bullock had us laughing through tears. The speech can be seen below:

Sandra's acceptance speech is one of the best I've ever seen... I would LOVE for her to push me into a pool - but only if I can hold on and bring her down with me! All in good fun of course, simply because I love her!
