From Gay porn star to murder suspect
In 2003, he was Freshman Magazine’s Man of the Year, but today, former gay porn star Marcus Allen is standing trial for murder.
Allen’s real name is Timothy Boham, and on Tuesday, prosecutors told a jury in Denver District Court that the former porn actor killed a Denver businessman during a robbery that went bad.
According to the prosecution, the 28-year-old attempted to rob his former boss, J.P. Kelso, in Kelso’s home in November, 2006. But when Kelso refused to open his safe, Boham allegedly shot him in the head.
Boham is charged with first-degree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery. He remains in custody.
According to the Denver Post , the defense argued that Kelso actually committed suicide, saying he was upset about the breakup of two relationships.
Boham appeared in several films under the name Marcus Allen for Falcon Entertainment in 2004 and 2005. He also appeared on the cover of Playgirl Magazine’s “campus hunks” edition.
