Harvey Milk remembered 33 years later with march

"...Let that bullet also destroy every closet door in the country."

Yesterday was the 33rd anniversary of the assassinations of Harvey Milk and George Moscone. You can listen to that "Hope" speech, which resonates as powerfully now as ever, here.

A Harvey Milk Memorial and Candlelight March took place in the Castro last night where former Milk intern Cleve Jones offered some inpiring words to the marchers and activists. Videographer Sean Chapin captured it all in a touching montage. See below:

Next year, it looks like Harvey will be getting a street named after him.
