Gwyneth Paltrow joins Glee on stage in London
The Marquee Blog reports: As promised, Gwyneth Paltrow popped up at the "Glee Live!" show at the summer tour's London stop yesterday. Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the show, tweeted earlier that the night's event was "going to be a special one" before she revealed that Paltrow was the surprise.
The 38-year-old had a breakout role on the Fox series as the substitute teacher Holly Holiday, and she joined the Glee crew at the O2 arena for another rendition of Cee Lo's "Forget You," as she previously did in New Jersey. According to the Daily Mail, Santana, as played by Naya Rivera, was in the middle of telling the Glee crew that she'd been named the sexiest glee club member when Paltrow strolled on stage and challenged her to a sing-off.
Paltrow, who recently joined Twitter, also had a few young ones in tow. "Just took four 7 year olds to glee live london. somebody pass me something vaguely hallucinogenic," she tweeted.
