Chris Colfer launches campaign to bring Scissor Sisters to Glee

Glee's Chris Colfer got the ball rolling on a campaign to get the Scissor Sisters to appear on the smash hit TV show.

Sugarscape reports that six thousand Facebook fans and the Scissor Sisters themselves are supporting the campaign to get the group on the show.

The ball started rolling when Colfer, who plays Kurt, mentioned at the Golden Globes that he’d love to have an episode dedicated to them .

Since then, fans have stormed Facebook in a bid to make this happen. And seeing as how Facebook had the power to bring Betty White to the masses on SNL, this new endeavor might be able to swing it for the Sisters.

Jake Shears of the band said:

"This campaign to get us on GLEE is awesome, we're very appreciative to the fans and we love the show! We've been into it since it first aired, and then got to meet Chris Colfer and some of the Glee cast on Jonathan Ross last year. Chris comes to our shows and feels a real connection with the band and I think he sees a proper fit between Glees aesthetic and a lot of our music. I know this would be a blast for the band, fingers crossed!"
Ugh, talk about my worlds colliding beautifully! I hope this works out for all involved (myself included).

Please join the campaign here.
