Cher is tweetin’ mad over Burlesque Oscar nomination snub
Idolator reports: While the names of those directors and actors overlooked by the Academy for this year’s Oscar nominations (Christopher Nolan! Ryan Gosling! Mark Wahlberg! ) rang out loud across the internet the other dayy, one notable song got the dreaded snub, as well: Cher’s Burlesque ballad “You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me.”
Diane Warren's song won the Best Original Song Golden Globe only two weeks ago.
Never one to be silenced, Cher herself took to her Twitter account yesterday to vent her irritation—at both the Academy.
