American Idol: Post #10

Adam Lambert's rendition of the Motown classic "Tracks of My Tears" was essentially the birth of a star. Everything about that performance was of a recording star waiting to sign his name on a dotted line. The look, the voice, the on-stage accompaniment, everything was pitch perfect. At this point, Lambert is a pro an an amateur karaoke contest. Thank you everyone for playing along.

Truthfully, I don't remember a single performer before him-- and with the exception of powerhouse Allison Iraheta-- I don't remember anything after. Rave all you want about Daniel Gokey, but I think Allison and Lambert should rightfully be the top two this year. They're the only two that make me feel anything. Well, Gokey does make me sick to my stomach, but that's a whole other kind of feeling...

I'll post Lambert's performance as soon as a video is made available. In the mean time, it's already on my iPod.
