A funny thing happened to Paul Reubens on the way to his twilight years: He rediscovered the child within. After an absence of almost two decades, the actor is re-creating his inspired comic creation, the silly but sly-like-a-fox Pee-Wee Herman, a moppet diva trapped in a man's body. The mid-1980s Saturday-morning show Pee-Wee's Playhouse and two feature films were as much adult guilty-pleasure fare as they were kid-friendly. That remains the case, as evidenced by the ages of fans who flocked to L.A. Live's Club Nokia on opening night. It didn't matter that the material mostly is recycled, culled from Reubens' early-1980s stage show and TV series. The crowd was ready to hoot and holler with unbridled glee at the goofy visual and verbal gags, sometimes a few seconds before they arrived. Developer Guillermo Socarras has been in talks with the Federal Aviation Administration to secure approval for the height of the tower in this superstructure proposed for Miami, called Miapolis : "The 160 storey building would be more than 183 metres higher than the Burj Khalifa if built and would house an amusement park, observatory, restaurants, 1.96 million sq ft of shops, over 1000 apartments, 1 million sq ft office space and a 792 room hotel." On the rumors that CNN cancelled her for dropping an F-Bomb on New Years Eve: CNN absolutely did not ban me and did not fire me. When that statement came out, Anderson texted me immediately and said he heard there was an internet rumor that he was upset with me and that it wasn’t true. Now regarding next year, the truth is no network makes a decision about New Year’s this early in the year and they can obviously do whatever they want. They can hire my mom next year for all I know. They did let me know, though, that I’m definitely not banned. Typically, they don’t hire me for that gig until November, so even if I had a contract, they can fire anyone at any time. Cindy McCain has posed for a Web site promoting gay marriage. McCain, who's married to former Repulican presidential candidate John McCain, appears in a photograph on the site with a piece of silver duct tape over her mouth and the slogan "No H8" written on her cheek. The site's owners were stunned when Mrs. McCain came to them with the idea of posing for them, they said when posting her photo Wednesday. "We've often been surprised at some of the different individuals who have approached us showing their support. Few, though, have surprised us more than Cindy McCain," wrote Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley. "The McCains are one of the most well-known Republican families in recent history, and for Mrs. McCain to have reached out to us to offer her support truly means a lot," they wrote.
